Why we are DifferentSTOPline is different from other providers of hotline services. As a specialist provider of confidential hotlines it is important to know that supporting whistleblowing programs is our core business. We do not confuse our objectives with the acquisition of internal audit work, forensic accounting, mergers & acquisitions, taxation services or even recruitment. STOPline is not only a conduit for the receipt of disclosures relating to improper conduct. STOPline provides a total package of support re policy development, communication and promotion, awareness training and most importantly, the confidential receipt of disclosures. As our core business, the receipt of disclosures is at STOPline and received by trained investigators without call line identification. We do not use subcontracted call centres or redirect calls overseas. We seek to engage employees by ensuring they understand their options and rights and that the employer’s objective is to eradicate improper conduct by proactively assisting their staff. We recognise whistleblowers are fearful of reprisal and that they will seek to maintain control. We provide security alternatives that allow individuals to maintain their anonymity. We also understand that organisations will desire to take corrective action and maintain control of their responses. STOPline does not impose solutions or seek automatic extension of services to investigations etc. We recognise that many organisations have well credentialed internal staff or established relationships that can provide investigative support. However, Alternatively, STOPline is recognised as a leading provider of investigative services, particularly in the public sector. |
